
Code of Conduct
At Houston LEAD, we are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior and guides how we interact with others.
1. Respect and Inclusivity

• Treat everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of background, race, gender, age, religion, identity, or experience.

• Listen actively and allow others to express their ideas without interruption or judgment.

• Welcome diverse perspectives and aim to build a safe, inclusive space.
2. Professionalism
​
• Maintain integrity, honesty, and fairness in all communications and actions.
​
• Be punctual, prepared, and present for meetings, events, or collaborations.
​
• Represent yourself and your business with honesty and authenticity.
3. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
​
• Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
​
• This includes but is not limited to: offensive comments, unwanted advances, or any behavior that makes someone feel unsafe.
4. Collaboration and Communication
​
• Engage constructively with feedback and foster a culture of learning and growth.
​
• Share information transparently and responsibly.
​
• Address conflicts directly and respectfully, or escalate through appropriate channels.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
​
• Respect the privacy of all participants.
​
• Do not share personal or business information shared in confidence without permission.
6. Accountability
​
• If you see or experience behavior that violates this code, report it to Regional Leader.
​
• Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from the chapter, event, or organization.
