Over a 40-year career with AT&T, Inc., and as the owner of a luxury day spa, I have honed a diverse set of skills in management, marketing, sales enhancement, and practical business operations. My experience includes mentoring young women navigating their corporate or small business careers, reflecting my natural inclination to help others and derive satisfaction from supporting both peers and customers. Steve Paterson is currently the CEO/Managing Partner of PCP Digital / Paterson Consulting Partners LLC, which specializes in fractional CMO services for small to medium businesses. The company is also a coproducer of Galveston Bay BizCast where Steve is also the host. The show will be debuting in March. He is the former President and CEO of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce in League City, Texas.
Steve came to the world of non-profit management, after a successful thirty-five-year career in newspaper and media management. Where he has held the titles of Publisher, Group Publisher, Division President, and Corporate Director. He brings to his current position a diverse group of skill sets, which include publishing, finance, marketing, operations, manufacturing, distribution, digital communication development, merger and acquisition, and new business development as part of his acquired education in senior management and c-level positions in his career.
Steve is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a minor in marketing. He also holds several advanced executive program certifications from Northwestern University, the Kellogg School of Graduate Studies, and the American Press Institute.
He is the recipient of the prestigious James M. Cox Award for Sales Excellence from Cox Media and was recognized by the Newspaper Association of America and presented the NCN Award for outstanding work in innovation and new business development.
He has been married to his wife of forty-four years Debra and has two daughters. His daughter Kelly is an Elementary school teacher specializing in mathematics, her husband Val is in the Event Management business. His daughter Colby works in real estate senior management and her husband Jordan is employed as a professional forensics structural engineer. Both of his daughters are graduates of the University of Texas, Austin where they graduated with honors.
